about

In the words of the almighty Kneill "let's get wings" D, (AKA MC Diet Z, AKA TT Valentine), indisputably King Thin's biggest fan:

"King Thin, the band: Jesse, our own Will Ferrell, was the fun guy, son o' The Donut. He played bass guitar and sang originally. Matt played the pretty lead guitars and was the quiet frenzy. Oh yeah, he also got the most play. Drums were played by 'The Puffed Up Red Guy' and 'he who fears little people,' Scott--AWOL. Neil was the other guitar player in the beginning who 'hated this band.' So, they did this and they did that. Russ stepped in for the tour to New Jersey. I think Russ recorded Segment Enterprise with the band, but I am not sure. Then, eminent break-up...leading to Power Trio? It worked for a while: WMTS, WNAR, The Boro, Junkfest, Kerry McCool, ICK, Liberty Caps, Pop Roxy, Dorothy Parker, all of Scott's women, cigarettes, St. Ides Special Brew, Jonathan's wings, drama, the robot & beer, Blood, Sweat, Tears, time away with Alison and whoever Matt & Scott were with. Then Chris...could the almighty King Thin have a new singer? Was Jesse bored? Did he just want to dance and play bass or was he quitting? No, just a new direction with the same classics like Revenged, Regret, & Skeleton. All documented on this EP for you. Plus the song with Chris, I Give Up....The true King Thin story can be summed up from a listen to the 'last show' 'live on the scene' interview tape, recorded by Kneill, floating somewhere in the void--lost. If you find it, all answers will be given. You'll hear stories from all the town schmoes, you hear the mourn, the cries, the ramblings and the insults! Until then, enjoy the anthology--the collection--the band. Love, Kneill"
